They should have a capacity of six rounds, a pocket clip for easy carrying, be double action with an exposed external hammer for single action, and feature a top-break or swing-out cylinder that automatically ejects rounds for reloading.

I've got two pistols in .40, a Sig 226 and a 229. Both work well with the .40 round. I prefer the .40 to the 9mm. In gel tests, the .40 does as good or better than either the 9mm or .45. It's a very effective, hard-hitting round! I don't find it to be too "snappy." I also like the .45 ACP and the 10mm. Also, the .40 works in the 10mm so you can fire the .40 without owning or buying a gun specifically in .40 caliber. Bottom line: get what works for you.

I recently picked up a gently used RIA hi-cap 1911 A2 target model at my local gun store for a very good price. They had two, one with Nowlin-ramped barrels and the other with traditional 1911 type barrels. I chose the one with the ramped barrels. The 22TCM chamber was very tight, with almost every other round either sticking halfway into the chamber, or fired cases failing to extract. I finished-reamed the chamber and adjusted the extractor tension and now it runs great. With the 9mm barrel installed it runs perfectly. The trigger is a little coarse but overall, for the price it's a great gun. I love shooting 22TCM. I wish the ammo was available from other manufacturers than just Armscor, whose quality control is not the best. I've never gotten into reloading, but the lack of availability and the high prices of the 22TCM ammo may force my hand, although forming 22TCM cases from the parent .223 Remington brass would make it a lot more work than, say, reloading 9mm.

Just bought an STR-9F (July 2024) for only $219.00 at Sportsman's Warehouse. ReMARKABLE handgun! Absolutely eats anything you shove down it's throat. The MAIN thing you completely missed here in your video is nearly ALL of the internals are within millimeters of a Glock! Just off enough, but scale wise, a near mirror image which is subsequently WHY this thing performs SO D@MN WELL! Love my Stoeger! Picked up extra mags in Phoenix and yes, as you stated, they can actually hold 17 rounds and that was verified by a call to Stoeger - in addition to the label on the cardboard box. Excellent gun!!

I have one of these on my 350 legend savage 110. Absolutely love it. Side note, it does infact have baffles... they’re just welded together, with the exception of the modular baffle stack on the front

Thanks for the review on the conversion. On a side note. That jacket is so perfectly broken in. Takes years to get it that way and looks it's best when it's starting to fray at the cuffs and collar. Had one just like it but burned a hole in it when welding. Brought back memories :)

Some HK P30SKs come with factory tritium sights and 3 magazines. HK has improved magazine internals such that they have the old 10 round magazines plus 12, 13 and 15 round magazines. The 12 round magazines can be flush or have an extension. Both are flat in the back to not imprint while concealed. The 13 and 15 round magazines have slim spacers such that there is no gap at the bottom of the grip. The LEM trigger (terrible name choice) is really a 2 stage trigger kinda like the Geissele SSA-E. First part very reduced pressure, then at the wall an additional 3 pounds will fire the weapon. The reset is very short. The LEM trigger is awesome. The P30SK is also fully ambidextrous. The magazine can be dropped with your thumb or forefinger.

The problem I have with the cheetah is the rear sight. Since it's mounted with the plate the screws come loose easily which makes the rear sight wobble around. Obviously that's not good for accuracy, after using loctite I still had issues with the rear plate so I'm pretty disappointed
